Role in the project: TU Delft has the role of developing of smart charging algorithms for V1G and V2G including grid congestion evaluation for mass deployment of electric vehicles. TU Delft will build multi-criteria assessment tools that evaluates the effective of smart charging and V2G based on performance indicators such as emissions, grid impact, battery degradation, user convenience and charging cost.
Delft University of Technology is the oldest and largest technical university in the Netherlands, focusing on fundamental and applied R&D. The research mission of the department of Electrical Sustainable Energy is to perform excellent research and education at an internationally recognized level in the field of electrical sustainable energy.
