E-Distribución

Role in the project:  e-distribución collaborates by sharing insights from DSO's perspective and expertise in flexibility services in different contexts; furthermore it is the responsible of the Demo project in Menorca.

e-distribución is part of Endesa, the leading company in the Spanish electricity sector and part of the Enel group. It supplies electricity in 24 Spanish provinces in 8 Autonomous Communities (Andalusia, Aragon, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Extremadura, Castile and Leon and Galicia) and in the Autonomous City of Ceuta, with a total area of 195.488 km2, thus supplying a population of more than 21 million inhabitants.
We are firmly committed to leading the energy transition and digitalization to meet the new challenges. Thus, the development of smart grids is essential to drive the electrification of demand that will require the decarbonization of the economy, to promote the integration of renewable energy, the development of self-consumption and the advancement of electric mobility.
From e-distribución we make a clear commitment to the digitalization of the network and all its systems, processes and customer service channels, focusing on improving the quality of the electricity supply, which is allowing us to reduce supply interruptions and response times in the event of breakdowns.
