Role in the project: IREC is the Project Manager and Coordinator of the consortium. It is furtemore responsible for the requirements of the open and interoperable software solution, it develops the forecasting tool and the algorithms advancements and is responsible for the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). Finally it is involved int the the Spanish demo.

The Catalonia Institute for Energy Research conducts research and innovation within the science and technology energy field. They contribute to sustainability via development of new technological solutions, promotion of scientific and technological know-how related to sustainable energy and its efficient use. IREC has large expertise and skills in research and industrial projects.

Second Thematic Workshop: Smart Charging in Action: Tools & Lessons from the Field

In the workshop, we will explore how new business models and economic opportunities are driving the development of e-mobility, with a particular focus on Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) integration—enabling electric vehicles to interact with home energy systems as active components.
